City: New York City

okay, so my friends and i just got out of college, and we decided to be roomates in Malibu. About the second week we were there we were still working on unpacking stuff from the car. And while we were unpacking we saw a box in the corner of the basement, we figured that the previous owner forgot to pack it up. So, one of my roomates, Laurie, went over to see what was inside. As soon as she opened the lid, we heard footsteps coming down the steps. Laurie says to my other roomate, Lizzie, "Is that you??" "No...i'm right here..." I turned around and saw the person who sold us the house. he told us that he left a small brown box filled with work equipment. After he left, Laurie told us that the box had been filled with weapons. After that, we decided to pack up and move to New York. We'll never forget that night.

City: Deer Lake

Me and my two friends were walking up to my other friends house to play spotlight and we planned to tell them a fake story about a truck stopping and like rolling down his window and showing us a knife and us taking off down the road. So after we finished the game we three that told the fake scary story walked down the road to go back home and a man in a truck pulled over in front of us and rolled down the window. We were super scared and only about 50steps from one of our friends house. So we all huddled in a bush and one of my friends called his dad, he said he would come. When we looked up at the truck that was still there, we saw a mans face in the mirror. We all looked at eachother in fear and when we looked up the truck had vanished with out any noise what so ever.

City: Salem

One night when I was 13 {19 now) I had a friend over. We were in my liveing room when my older sister told me to go get her bag in her room. So I went in {without turning on the light} and grabed her bag and when I looked up at the window it was open and out side I saw a man, he had a hat on so i didnt see his face. He turned arond and walked away. I ran to my father and he went outside to look. Come to find out my nextdoor nabers even saw him and alot of stuff from my sisters room was takeing. It is now my room {{in witch Im sitting in now}} So every time I go to bed I cant help but rember that night. I wont go into a room without turning the lights on agan..

City: Fayettenam, NC

M enad my friend COlin were alking his dog, Daisy, at an elementary school sorta late at night. This man was out there with a bunch of dogs and all og his dogs started running up to Daisy and so the man came up to us and said "Do ya'll live in that neighborhood right there?" We said "yeah, we do" he said "have u ever seen these 2 dogs? They arent mine, they just came up to me" We said "no" and we kept on walking. The man was VERY strange looking, but I wasn't scared because Colin had a pocket knife with him and he opened it as soon as the man came our way.

City: Omaha

ALright i was at home a couple days ago and it was like 2 a.m i couldent sleep so i went downstairs to play my xbox of coarse i had to turn the volume way down beacuse everyone in the house was sleeping my stairs creep whenever anyone or anything goes down them. I started to hear creeking and i looked around really fast but i didnt see anything so i said oh well and continued play and about 5 minutes later i started to hear the noises again so i looked around again and this time i saw a shadow of someone with a gun so i went to get my dads meat cleaver and i went up the stairs but then the figure started running away and ran through the front door i told my parents but they said i was dreaming but i know i wasnt. it had to have been the most freaky thing i have seen for a long time.
