one night i spent the night at my granddads, (its a pretty scary house at night) i was sitting on the couch reading a book after my granddad went to bed. i heard a noise comming from upstairs, so i went to check it out. i turned on a light and opened a door and the window was open. i looked out the window and there was a guy all in black jumping off the shed next to my granddads house and running away. so now, i stay in my room and and turn on music and keep the lights on so whoever that was will always know someones home.

City: Podunk

I live in a really rural place and about a year or so ago we had people move into the house next door. Well one day I was home alone and I opened up the blinds in the kitchen to let some light in. Our kitchen window sort of faced their house so when I looked in the direction of their house I saw the man looking into our house from his living room window!!! I was so freaked out and called my mom right away. It didn\'t happen again but I was happy when they moved three months later.

City: Norwalk, IA

So one night, I was all alone in my room, just watching some TV. Nothing particular special going on. But then, I suddenly jumped to the noise of a loud "BANG!!!" Just outside my house, which behind my house, is a small forest. Hardly any people go in there. My dogs started barking madly and really loud. It scared the crap out of me. Then, days later, during one of my classes, a guest cop was in teaching us. What particularly caught my attention was when she told us that Norwalk has the largest murder count in Iowa. I got the chills.....Course it could just be my imagination running wild....lol.....I don't know anymore......i'm still scared though....i'm afraid to in that forest at night.....

City: ???

I woke up in the middle of he night bcoz there was this huge storm outside. i went downstairs to get a drink and when i went back upstairs, i heard these really heavy footsteps on or tiles downstairs. i just thought it was mi dad so i went back to sleep. the next morning i asked my mum and dad if they were up at all during the night and they said no and asked if i had seen our dog. i said no so we looked all over the neighbourhood to try and find him. up to this day, we still havent found out where mi dog is.

City: San Francisco

It was about five o'clock and it was when I had just started getting used to staying home alone. Although, I still had some habbits. I would always leave my garage open, because my neighbors are usually outside, and I didn't really like being alone. So I went in my garage to hang out, and read. When I walked out their was a man in my garage. It wasn't a neighbor though. The man asked me to come with him.I said hold on, let me get my dad. But my dad really wasn't there. So I went inside, and called him. He said to just close the garage. So I did, and the guy left. I could have been abducted.
