Ok so one day me,my mom,and my sister were in the livingroom watching Mean Girls.It was around six o\'clock or something like that and we got the feeling someone was watching us.So we looked out the door and sure enough there was a man staning in our yard staring at us through the front door.I was so scared!When mom got up to walk over nad lock the front door the man took off running.Later on around seven or so me,my mom,and my sister went walking looking for him to see if he had went to one of the other houses on our road. While we were walking a police officer came around like he does everyday once or twice a day just to make sure everything is ok stopped and talked to us and mom told him about the guy and the police officer said he had escaped from jail and he was a murderer.After we found that out we ran back to our house and we locked all the doors.We were terified!But the police finally caught him and put him back in jail.

k, so one night me and my friend jessica were eating cookies and milk at like 3 am telling scary stories. we were sitting on the big counter in the middle of my kitchen. at about 5 am we finally went up to bed. the next night, after she was back home, i was on my way up to bed and just happened to glance at the front door, remembering a certain story jessica had told me about ppl robbing her house. so i took a quick look at the lock to see if it was locked, and it was. so i went up to bed. about 2 or 3 hours later i was just sitting up in bed reading a book, when all of the sudden i heard a knock at the front door. i was about to go down and answer when suddenly common sence kicked in and i relized it ws like 2 in the morning, so i thought someone was trying to get in. when i peeked down stairs, i saw that the door was unlocked!! i peered out the window on the door and nobody was there. i went down in the basement and asked my dad if he had gone outside or anthing. he said no and told me to go ask my mom. i looked in her bedroom and saw that she was asleep,knowing that she obviously hadnt gone outside. i then looked in at my sister who was also asleep. i was getting a little spooked, so i just went downstairs and locked the door again. then i ran upstairs and tried to fall asleep ASAP!! the eerie sequence of events that happened that night, never occurred again, and quite frankly, im glad it didnt.

One night I was in my bed watching a movie, when I hear something hit the dining room window downstairs. My mom and sister were sleeping in their rooms, and my dad was down in the basement at the computer. I went into the hallway to look out the big window in our foyer to see if I saw anything out there. I didnt. Then I went downstairs into the basement to tell my dad, and he came up and went outside in the front yard to look. He didnt see anything and told me it was probably a big bug or something. So he went back downstairs and I went back up to my room and turned my light on for a while. I paused my movie and listed for a while to see if I would hear it again. When I didnt hear it again for a while, I turned my light off and turned my movie on again. I turned the volume up loud so I wouldnt hear it again. Then I hear something kinda hit the window again. I looked out one more time and saw nothing. I just went back to bed and laid there and watched the movie and didnt really ever hear anything again.

A long time ago when I was about 9 yrs old we had this stuffed doll that we had for halloween, and we kept it in our basement cuz it looked rly nasty and bloody and creepy. it was like a scarecrow. one night on october, i heard a smash downstairs from my room, and i heard some glass breaking. the next morning we checked the basement and the doll was gone and the window was broken. on halloween we went trick-or-treating and we came to a guys house. we looked behind him in his living room from the front door and our doll was sitting there on his couch. i didnt say anything but he moved away next year.

City: Edmonton

This isnt very scary, more creepy, but this is 100% true..one normal day i was just sitting on my couch watching tv and then an old man was walking on the other side of the street. I quickly looked at him and he turned around and looked straight at me. Then, I pretended to pay attantion to the TV but i was really focusing on the man while i was looking at the TV. He left, then came back watching the house twice later in the day. Creepy...
